| Selection Trials | ||||
| Selection trials for the 2010/11 Northern Tablelands U13's, U14's and U16's teams will be in Armidale on Sunday, 15th August '10 commencing at 10.00am. The U13's trial will be held at the Harris Park nets and the U14's & U16's will be at the T.A.S. nets. Teams selected will compete at the Central North Invitational Carnival scheduled to be played in Tamworth over the October 2010 long weekend. The trials are open to all interested players and it is a great stepping stone for players to develop their skills and to create opportunities to further their cricketing career.

The season opens with U12's, U14's and U16's contesting the Surf n Turf Shield against Coffs Harbour teams. This is a keenly contested shield and we look forward to the Coffs team coming to Armidale this season so that we may win back the shield from their grasp. |

Next on the agenda is the Central North Invitational Carnival held over the October long weekend in Tamworth. During this round-robin event Northern Tablelands U13's, U14's and U16's compete against North West, Mid North Coast and Hunter Valley teams. |

| During the season all age groups compete in the Inter-District Competition against teams from Inverell, Glen Innes and Warialda. | ||||
The ADJCA usually attend a carnival for U13's in Ballina during January. Iin early January the U14's travel to Tamworth to participate in the annual North West Challenge Carnival. |

The ADJCA conduct our own carnival in January every year for the Under 15's. This is known as the Walter Taylor Shield and attracts excellent competition. All matches are played on turf (weather permitting), is fully umpired (with official NSW Umpires) and catered for by ADJCA volunteers with assistance from the senior Cricket Association. |
