It was a historic occassion at the recent AGM's for both the Senior and Junior Cricket Associations when it was resolved that the two associations merge. The new association will be now known as the Armidale and District Cricket Association Inc.. There were a number of benefits identified, during the due diligence process on the merits of merging, that will be a boost to both of the former associations. The executive and committee positions for the new Association have been filled and the details are listed in the ADCA Committee page.

Feedback from the Bradman Foundation Junior Cricket Coaching Camp held in Armidale from 26th - 29th September has been very positive. Parents, organisers and the young players all seemed to be suitably impressed. The Bradman Foundation coaching staff have stated that the players that attended were amongst the best behaved and enthusiastic in all of the camps that they have held. The camp is aimed at boys and girls aged from 11 to 17, regardless of skill levels. There is a strong emphasis on 'the spirit of the game' as well as providing training in technical and physical skills and also the mental and tactical elements of the game.
For those players interested in playing in the senior representative teams this season, training is now happening each Friday afternoon at the Sportsground nets. All players are welcome to attend.
